At Household Items Shop, we stand behind the quality of our home organization and cleaning products. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re happy to offer returns or exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order.

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for a return or exchange:

  • Item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition
  • Return must be initiated within 15 days of delivery
  • Original proof of purchase (order number or receipt) must be provided

Non-Returnable Items

For health and safety reasons, the following products cannot be returned:

  • Bathroom cleaning products that have been opened or used
  • Cleaning essentials and tools that show signs of use
  • Personal care items that cannot be sanitized

Return & Exchange Process

Step 1: Initiate Your Return

Email our customer service team at [email protected] with the following information:

Subject: Return/Exchange Request – Order #[Your Order Number] Dear Household Items Shop Team, I would like to request a [return/exchange] for my recent order #[Your Order Number]. Details of the item(s) I wish to return/exchange: – Product Name: – Quantity: – Reason for return/exchange: Please advise on next steps. Best regards, [Your Full Name] [Your Contact Information]

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

Within 2 business days, we’ll email you:

  • Return authorization number
  • Return shipping address
  • Special instructions if applicable

Step 3: Package and Ship Your Return

Please include:

  • The item in its original packaging
  • All original tags and accessories
  • A copy of your return authorization email

Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

Step 4: Processing Your Return

Once we receive your return:

  • We’ll inspect the item within 3 business days
  • For approved returns, we’ll process your refund or exchange
  • You’ll receive email confirmation when complete

Refund Information

Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).

Processing Time:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days after approval
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days after approval

Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchange Information

For exchanges:

  • We’ll ship your replacement item once the return is approved
  • Standard shipping rates apply for the new item
  • You’ll receive tracking information via email

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you received a damaged or incorrect item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Include photos of the damaged/incorrect item and packaging
  • We’ll arrange for a replacement at no additional cost

International Returns

For international customers (excluding Asia and certain remote regions):

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
  • Customs fees and duties are non-refundable
  • Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges
